This angel picture reveals an apparition of a
figure - some believing this to be Jesus Christ. It has become a huge enigma, as we continue to receive letters
and e-mails claiming to have the original photo, and all of these with different stories. This photograph of Jesus
in the clouds has impacted so many lives...and maybe we have solved it. Read Christopher's story and evidence:
UPDATE: The mystery may be solved. Read this...
"My name is Christopher
and I live in Edgewood, NM and the following is the true story and originals of the Christ or Angel Apparition
pictures you have on your website. This picture was given to me by my mother at my grandmother's funeral.
She took this picture from the front yard of her house in Portsmouth, Ohio. I have edited this picture to show
you some things such as the tree and leaves on the lower left side proving that it was not taken from inside
an airplane. This picture was sent to Ripley's Believe It Or Not by my grandmother before she died, and
was played on an episode. This picture has been proven to be authentic and an original by the Ripley's Company
as well as other places my mother took it to and the professionals say this could not be faked and is not copied. Copies however, were made by my grandmother and given to friends, family, and members of her church.
My mother has the original camera it was taken with as well as the bible that it sat in for many years -
that had the imprint on the pages. She also worked at Super-X Drug Stores for 10 or 20 years as manager,
and she was the secretary of her church (Swauger Valley Free Will Baptist Church). This picture matches the
picture sent in by Dorothy LaVerne and the last name sticks in my memory from the funeral. My grandmother had
a friend with this last name and she was at the funeral and I met her. My grandmother's name was Patricia
Ann Brisker and my mother's name is Judy Brisker. This picture was the only thing I got from my grandmother
and I cherish it and it lays inside my bible; the same place she had it in hers. I originally asked
my mother for the bible, but she said no, so I asked her if I could at least have the famous picture of Christ
or an Angel, and she let me take it. I was 19 at her funeral, and I could remember my grandmother
showing me this and talking about it as I was growing up with my two sisters. I was about 5 years old the first time and I believed it was Christ and it made me believe in God more - that was in 1975. My
whole family has known about this since it was taken and passed it on through the years. I, to this day, show it to my close friends, and share it with my children. This picture was taken around the times
of 1955-1965, although I don't know the actual year. So what kind of airplane could this have been?
My grandmother told me the story and I have seen the place and tree it was taken at. On the back
of this picture is my grandmother's handwriting and the scriptures (if looked up have something to do about this
picture one way or another). Please feel free to look them up for yourself and you will see it fits
perfectly. There are many creases on it, and the picture Dorothy sent in has some of the same, causing me
to believe that she has gotten one of my grandmother's copies. I believe in my heart that I have the original,
and count this as a blessing that its being shared, because that's what my grandmother would have wanted,
and had tried to do during her lifetime. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU ALL AND COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS. I
ONLY WISH THIS MAKES YOU A BELIEVER AS IT DID ME!!!"

UPDATE: Vicki Roehrick of Kingman, Arizona sent us this latest photo to the left:
"I was given this picture by a friend after the death of my mother, some 13 years ago.
I was actually loaned the photo which was supposedly taken by her aunt at a family funeral. I'm not certain
of the year, but believe it was several years prior to my coming in contact with it. This copy is
not the best as it was scanned with the blown up copy I have in a frame." - Vicki
This angel picture reveals an apparition
of a figure - some believing this to be Christ because of the out-stretched arms. Others believe this angel picture
to be just that - an angel pictured before the person it is bringing a message to, or watching over. The word, "angel,"
means "messenger." This Angel or Christ apparition picture has made more impact on the lives of people
than any other picture we have posted. The mystery may be solved. Be sure and See page Two:
"I am writing about the old photo on your site of Christ or an angel stepping
out of a cloud that was taken from an airplane window. I am very familiar with this picture. In 1972, I
worked at a photo lab in Fort Lauderdale which developed all the films for the SuperX Drugstore chain in the state of
Florida. This was in a batch we received to develop, along with several others on the roll taken from an airplane window.
Our photo printer was so shocked when she saw it (pictures were printed one at a time back then), that she called
the entire staff in to look at it, and then printed an extra one for those of us who wanted it. I kept my copy
for years and have looked for it many times, but it has been lost in moving. This is a legitimate picture - I
saw the original with my own eyes!" - Elaine Fontes Lehigh Acres, FL
UPDATE
- Upper Right Photo February 3, 2005, we received this
letter from Kevin Schemenauer of Quesnel, British Columbia. His photo has been added to the right. Apparently
he owns one of the original photos of this apparition and writes:
"I was just checking out your site at angelsghosts.com and figured I'd scan
you a photo that we've had since at least the early 1980's but by the looks of the type of photo paper it was developed
on, I'd guess it was taken in the early 70's. It was given to us by my aunt who had received it from a friend,
so I'm not sure of it's story. I remember hearing that it had been taken from an airplane window...so here
it is. You can post it on your site if you like."
UPDATE: New comments regarding these photos were sent to us recently:
"My name is Rick. I am originally from Tampa,
FL. I saw the photo of Jesus standing on a cloud and read that it was taken from an airplane window. It
also says that it was taken in the 70's. My friend (who is now dead) showed me this very photo back in 1977. He
told me that his mother's friend had taken it from an airplane window during a storm. His mother's friend was
curious about what would happen if she took a photo of the storm. The photo on the left, on your site, is
EXACTLY like the photo that I saw. I held the photo in my hand and we went to my house. I showed it to my mother,
who is very much into angels, and she was really fascinated by it. The other photo on your site, from Canada,
is much different than the one that I saw. The one that I held, at about age 13 or 14, sent chills through
me. It was a feeling that Jesus was real. That has actually followed me through life. I have never
forgotten it."
Update: We received these photos from Renee Taylor and this story...
"How did you get that pic of Jesus in the clouds??? My Grandma has a picture that my Great
Grandma took on a plane. It is the exact same picture of Jesus in the cluds. If you want I can get the pic
from my Grandma and email you the picture. I have chills all over. GOD IS REAL!!! And to see the same
picture of what my Grandma has I really have chills."
Left: Back of the photo from Renee...
"After my Great Grandma died, this picture
was passed on to my grandma. One picture is the front and one picture is the back."
We have received so many variations of the story behind
this photograph, we are not sure where, when, or by whom it was taken.
Read on and you
decide...then visit page two of this story:
Add to the mystery: Jack from Denmark sent us the following comments
regarding the above scriptures: I
noticed the scriptures on the back of the picture sent in by Christopher from Edgewood - they are not in the bible.
I can't find 1 Kings 19:35, nor can I find 1Kings 35:19; but in 2 Kings 19:35 it says, "And it came
to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses."
(KJV). I cannot find Psalms 11:9-11 either, because Psalms 11 only has seven verses.
Conclusion: I am an expert
at image analysis and have been working in this field for years, and understand how to fake an image. There are a few
things that do not add up here. I am not saying that Christ does not exist or cannot appear to you, what I am saying
is that this picture has all the marks of a fake. First, look at the number
of people who all claim that the picture was taken by their mom or grandma. Too many to be true. What is more
plausible is that someone created this and made copies to pass around. Second, if you look at the sepia picture above,
you can clearly see very definite lines, edges and what appears to be cardboard cut out to give a cloud effect. Also
the "Jesus" in the picture appears exactly like the statues you see in so many religious stores and his hands are
in that "blessings" pose. There is no doubt that the sepia looking picture was taken first and then the negative
was used to make unclear copies so the shapes would look like clouds. Not even a question. If "CHrist"
was really there, one of his arms or hands would be in a different position would it not? Clearly a fake. At ghost
soldiers, we will not show you any evidence that we don't think is real, unless it is to debunk a popular photo.
